Early morning wake up call at 4:30 AM, quick shower and we’re out again. Blowing snow in Winnipeg, we take off quickly against the wind heading further West on our journey. Back onto the plane again and we land safely in Yellowknife. We grab our bags, get the van and pull up to the cargo hangar where the couch happens to be unloaded in pieces. Peter and I put it together in little over 5 minutes and voila, the same couch comes back to life. The first thing I notice about Yellowknife is the abundance of heavy duty trucks. We’re greeted by Ted who shows us our away from home for the next few days. After setting up shop, we go into town for a brief stroll, considering it was -23 on the thermometer.
